In your inbox today

In your inbox today, you may have gotten an email from me. I recently subscribed to a mail marketing company that will handle all my contacts (add & removal), emails, and stats. I am a one woman show, occasionally with the help of friends and second photographers, and I realized I can not do everything myself and need to start out sourcing work to other professionals rather than thinking I can do it all on my own.

I think it is very important to let experts handle the things they know the best so that each component is truly done to it's full potential making the end result better than any one person could do... especially time wise!! feeeww. This also very strongly applies to your wedding photographer. Make sure you get someone that is a true expert in their craft. Suan said this perfectly.
"Because you're a professional in your field as well, you probably want to get the best images possible--which are almost never the cheapest images possible. As we all know, the advent of digital photography has led to a whole slew of folks thinking they're photographers; more people are trying to do-it-yourself every day. And it's true--the DELETE button on their digital cameras allows them to throw out out-of-focus, awkwardly framed, and miserably exposed images instantly.

The result is more people taking bad pictures than ever before!

When you hire a pro, you're not just hiring a person with a more expensive camera than your Uncle Fred. You're hiring someone who knows how to make you (or whatever the subject is) look awesome, using an artistic eye, an ability to put the subject at ease, and the technical skill to give you a riveting image that everyone will notice. You're hiring someone who can take your vision of yourself (or of the subject you want shot), and mold it into something eye-catching, truthful, and new.

If those things don't matter to you, phone Uncle Fred immediately. "

Links to both of these sites can be found by clicking on the 'website' link.

In the spirit of giving, I have included a 25% off certificate valid with any wedding package or portraiture session. This special offer is redeemable for any photographic date booked for 2010.
